EMPOWER FITNESS CLASSES

JANUARY 8 – FEBRUARY 17, 2018    

CLASSES ARE 6 SESSIONS (unless otherwise indicated).  PRICE INCLUDES ALL 6 SESSIONS.  NON-MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!

 

BALANCE & CORE:    Moderate  intensity class including Pilates-type core work on mat, and a standing balance routine!

BEGINNER STRENGTH & RESISTANCE:  NEW!  Build muscle mass & endurance.  Use weights, bands and body weight.  No floor work.  Suitable for all.

CHAIR CARDIO:  Get your heart rate up and burn some calories all while seated to reduce the stress on leg joints.  Come join the fun!

CHAIR STRENGTH & BALANCE:  Beginner level class designed with resistance and balance exercises all done using a chair.  Some standing.

CHAIR STRENGTH & CARDIO:  Beginner level class using hand weights & bands to build muscle, joint and cardiovascular fitness.  Suitable for all!

CHAIR YOGA:  Build fluid, strong joints while strengthening and stretching all over.  Gently ease stiffness all while seated.  Brief meditation.

CIRCUIT CLUB:  Learn a new 30 minute routine using the circuit strength machines combined with cardio interval bursts.  Fun!

CORE & DOWN HIIT SUPER SETS:  High intensity super sets uses weights to build muscle, burn fat & increase cardiovascular endurance.  Floor work.

DANCERCIZE:  NEW!  A moderate intensity mix of dance based cardio and strength training for a calorie burning total body workout.

EVENING BOOST:    A moderate to high intensity workout with step, hand weights and mat work all included!

SUNSET YOGA:  Mindfulness, observing breath & body are all part of Hatha Yoga.  Strengthen, Stretch, relax all over!  Meditation.

TAI CHI: An “internal” art for all ages to develop internal energy and balance.  All levels are welcome, regardless of previous experience.
