EMPOWER FITNESS CLASSES

NOVEMBER 6 – DECEMBER 16, 2017    

CLASSES ARE 6 SESSIONS (unless otherwise indicated).  PRICE INCLUDES ALL 6 SESSIONS.  NON-MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!

 

BALANCE & CORE:    Moderate  intensity class including Pilates-type core work on mat, and a standing balance routine!

Thursday 10:00am-10:30am, No class 11/23 (Joan Brame)                  Members = FREE       Non-Members = $40

 

CHAIR CARDIO:  Get your heart rate up and burn some calories all while seated to reduce the stress on leg joints.  Come join the fun!

Wednesday 11:00am-11:30am, No class 12/6 (Heather Walker)         Members = FREE    Non-Members = $40    

 

CHAIR STRENGTH & BALANCE:  Beginner level class designed with resistance and balance exercises all done using a chair.  Some standing.

CHAIR STRENGTH & CARDIO:  Beginner level class using hand weights & bands to build muscle, joint and cardiovascular fitness.  Suitable for all!

CHAIR YOGA:  Build fluid, strong joints while strengthening and stretching all over.  Gently ease stiffness all while seated.  Brief meditation.

CIRCUIT CLUB:  Learn a new 30 minute routine using the circuit strength machines combined with cardio interval bursts.  Fun!

CORE & DOWN HIIT SUPER SETS:  NEW!  Pairs 2 different exercises one right after the other with no break in  between.  Helps build muscles, and sheds fat fast.

EVENING BOOST:  NEW!  A moderate to high intensity workout with step, hand weights and mat work all included!

FULL BODY CIRCUIT TRAINING:  NEW!  A total body strength training workout designed in small circuits.

GROOVE DANCE WORKOUT:  NEW!  Based on the dance model created by Misty Tripoli.  Fun and a great workout!

STEP IT UP:  Come have fun while you burn calories in this aerobic step cardio class.  Includes muscle strengthening and balance work too!

SUNSET YOGA:  Mindfulness, observing breath & body are all part of Hatha Yoga.  Strengthen, Stretch, relax all over!  Meditation.

TAI CHI: An “internal” art for all ages to develop internal energy and balance.  All levels are welcome, regardless of previous experience.

TABAHTA HIIT:  A highly efficient metabolism boosting workout in a short period of time.  Moderate to high intensity.

TOTAL BODY COMPOUND MOVES:  NEW!  Compound exercises involve working more than one muscle group at the same time.  Use weights and a band.

ZUMBA:  Latin inspired routines combine fast and slow rhythms that burn calories and tones and sculpts the body.  Have fun in this energizing workout!
